I’m sitting here at very early morning, everyone's asleep, a flat is semi-quiet, and I’m sipping on some hot cocoa while finishing uni assignments. I’m so thankful, and so happy and so mellowed out. Creating new decorations and following my passions have become such a blessing. Such a soothing way for me to spend time with myself, my thoughts, and express my creative side. I honestly believe that doing the things we love is the path to our happiness because it's not how much we have but how much we enjoy that makes happiness. I would love to hear your passions and hobbies, and maybe we can inspire each other. Let me know in the comment section.

Frankly speaking, I'm a big fan of little decorations because they can make a huge difference. That's the reason why I bought this basket in Pepco. I loved it but knew that I might find a way to add something that will give it life. Well, and then I found quite luckily in the store these colorful pompons that are just perfect for this dreamy DIY! Grab a mug of hot chocolate, we are going to make something beautiful (and insta-friendly, muahaha). ☕️

This DIY is super easy, and it will take approximately 10 minutes. So, what will we need to prepare?

✂️ A basket of your choice
✂️ Pompons or any type of a decorative item
✂️ A hot glue gun & smile on your face! ✨

Let's make magic! ✨

The most important is to choose the right material for you. I've decided to use these pompons (is it really the right word and name for it? 😀 Let me know in the comments how do you call it). You can also use fake flowers, the result might be even nicer. Well, and that's it, then comes the fun part with a hot glue gun. It can be tricky, so please, be very careful with a hot glue gun. I burned myself, and it was crazy pain.

Now, take a pompon and stick it to the basket. It might take a few seconds so it's better to hold the pompon, and it will stay there forever. Also, I would recommend changing the colors, sizes, and materials if you want.  It will create a nice pattern.

Super easy, right? And now, a cherry on the top! You can use the rest of the material for your "new" cell phone cover, yay! ✨

I hope you enjoyed it. If you give a chance to try to make the basket DIY or phone cover, tag me on the Instagram @shadesofsilvie, and I will repost it. 🌷

Have a lovely day.
